Prototype Needed Routed wood pieces for custom set of furniture in Chicago

I'm designing 2 desks with 3 matching bookcases. The parts I need will be formed from 1.5" to 2" thick plywood (which I can supply) run through a CNC routing machine.

Here is what I need:

- 2 desktops (30" x 60" x 2")
- 14 shelves (14" x 29" x 1.5")
- 1 tabletop (18" x 95" x 1.5")

Your router should be able to handle at least the desktop-sized pieces, since I can have all the pieces rough-cut before routing. Being able to handle full 4' x 8' sheets of plywood might be best, though. (Shipping might be an issue...)

I can do the final sanding and finishing myself or have you do it.

I'd prefer a shop within 20 miles of 60601 (downtown Chicago).

Contact me for drawings and such. Thanks for your attention.

Hi - we are looking to produce custom pulley stock. Essentially, we'd start with a round al. bar at given diameter (we might try a couple sizes) and cut twenty tapered grooves around it. The grooves will be .50 wide at the bottom and .50 deep, with a 50 degree taper - if we change O.D.'s, the groove will not change.

We'd like to produce stock material in 8" or 12" lengths - whatever is convenient - to be cut up later. We'd start with a couple O.D.'s and do some testing, so qty would be 2 or 3 parts to start. Afterwards, it'll be a stock part for us, and we would like have it turned into finished parts once the cross-sectional geometry gets fixed.

I don't think a standard hob (multi-groove) would do it, since the O.D. isn't fixed - I think you'd have to cut the grooves one at a time vertically or horizontally. Any mill with a ground cutter and an index should do it - but obviously, though, I don't care how it's done.
