Default 50 aluminium knobs needed

I need quote for 50 of these. Any aluminum alloy except for 6063. Inside tolerances are +.002 -.000. OD tolerances are +/-.005. 3/4 rod works just fine and these are machined ( bored and drilled) from both ends. http://johnstoolroom.com/Documents/G1Knob2.bmp Please quote on drawing and then I will be sending out final prints. I know that there are some dimensions missing on the current drawing. These should fit in a $9.60 USPS priroity box worst case scenario, so include S&H. I need quote and date of completion

$1.10? $55 total? And you aren't in India or China. You either work real fast or you have a minimum wage shop rate.
Programming, set-up, running, cleaning and packing
I figure at 3 hours plus, and material at $12.00, how do you do it?

hey Bob, this is why it's so hard to compete in here. you have guy's in this forum with huge shops bidding like this just to squeeze everybody out. or? to get their foot in the door hoping it would land something bigger. it's amazing. i know one guy in here that advertise his shop and all the machines that he listed are all big dollar cnc equipment. he bids on most of the jobs in this forum. i just don't get how these guys do it.

I've seen DECO's that turn out stuff like this in 1 min or less. Maybe the guy has a sub spindle. Made in China would be more like .60 cents a piece. I definately won't go with a chinese guy and I know what its like getting squeezed, as all I got is an engine lathe and a BP. My customers aren't too crazy about my prices and I would end up working for minmium wage on many occassions, so I came here. My bid has been beat many a time here. Se la Vi
