I'm looking for a very unique job -- I need a parabolic reflector manufactured out of a metallic material (aluminum, sheet metal, copper, etc. ok).

The outer x-y dimensions are 200 x 400 mm (not too small but not excessively large). However, in the z-direction I need a particular profile milled in. The final shape would be something similar to what a dish antenna looks like for example but it's not the same profile.

Any idea whether this can be c-n-c machined or any other way to get it built?

Thank you!

Probably the cheapest way would be to find someone with an English wheel or other metal forming process for the large curved piece and then bolt or weld the other item to it. This sounds like something that would be very pricey if machined from solid. Probably best to post this in a sheet metal section or forum.
