Growing firearms company is in need of a top level programmer and set up machinist. We are not looking for someone to set up machines from a set up sheet or parts changer operators.
Must be proficient at designing fixtures for holding complex parts, drawing the fixture and part in Solidworks, making the fixture, researching the tooling needed along with their appropriate feed rates and speeds, running off the first article, and making a solid process to be able to turn the machine over to machine operators.
Must be proficient with Haas 4 axis VMC and 4 axis horizontal mills (Toyoda, Doosan). Turning experience a plus but not required. Renishaw probing is used in all of our machines. All machines are newer and maintained in top condition. We have 14 machine centers on our shop floor.
