We are seeking a contract to hire Machinist. Candidate will be responsible for working as a lead CNC Lathe Set-up Programmer. Candidate will be expected to work almost completely independently, start to finish, without supervision, and produce a high quality, complex product (for example, maybe a part order), on time.
Work Week: 4 day work week, 1st shift, 10-hour days, Monday-Thursday, Fridays, when needed, are reserved for overtime.
Requirements:
3+ years experience as a CNC Set up Programmer.
Experience with some combination of Mazak, Doosan and Miyano lathes.
Experience/ability to g-code efficiently.
Experienced in tooling and has worked with various materials.
Prefer:
Knowledge of Mazak machine language
Aggressive, take charge person.
