I need a quote on some milling work.
I am making a BMX brake mount. The mount is comprised of a horseshoe and two clamps made of two parts per clamp - total of five pieces per set - I need three sets.
The horseshoe needs to be made out of 6061-T6 aluminum cast tooling plate. The clamps can be made out of regular 6061-T6 aluminum. Quote should include material.
There are 12 holes that need to be threaded per set.
The top surface of the horseshoe and the top of the clamps need to be brushed (see attached renders).
I need all parts anodized black. I saw in another post that there was hard and soft anodizing. Hard sounds best. Please quote both types if possible.
I made the 3d model in Rhino, but I can provide whatever file format is needed.
I am attaching plan drawing pdfs, a 3d pdf, and Keyshot renders of how it should look.
Time frame - within 21 days-ish.
These parts need to look 100% professional, and dare I say, perfect.
If you need more info, just ask, and will get back to you asap.
If I have made the wrong choice in aluminum for my application or anything else that isn't correct, please let me know!
Thank you!
