We require a 4" long #6-32 button head cap screw. Stainless material either 18-8 or 316. At least 0.75" of thread.
1500 pieces for our prototype. EAU is 9k to 18k. I would like to see the prototype pieces in the one dollar range. I would like to see 10k pieces in the half dollar range.
This is probably a cold headed part.
If you have a similar off-the-shelf part, say a socket head cap screw, we can consider it. The 4" and #6-32 is critical. We could also consider a very well made threaded rod with head welded on. Perhaps an allen nut welded threaded rod.
We will be doing material testing of the part to make sure it is made from proper alloy stainless. No cheating on the metal type.
We prefer US based manufacturers, however we will consider reputable overseas manufacturers.
No set quote period. We will probably purchase immediately from whomever can get us what we need.
