Greetings. I am looking to have 5 sets of rods drilled from .079" (2mm) rod stock.

These parts will be tested for crimping of music wire. Rod stock should be of stainless steel alloy- formable, so it does not rupture. Advice on the proper rod alloy will be appreciated; by default going for SS303. I can supply the stock from Mcmaster, or another source if a specialty alloy is advised.

Individual sets of rods have different center hole size, currently shown at .040" diameter. Hole size per set is listed below.

.040, 12 each
.045, 12 each
.050, 12 each
.055, 12 each
.060, 12 each

Hole end type does not matter (pointed or flat) as long as there is .015" of wall thickness at the end.

1 week lead time is desired.

Please let me know if there are any questions. Thank you.
