Request For Quote- Ground bearing shaft

Please quote the following part. We want to quote 150 each on this first batch and may later follow up with a blanket annual contract for future allocations as this is a production part. The material is open to the supplier as long as it meets our surface hardness requirements but subject to our approval. Please indicate the material and method of mfg with your quote. The surface finish is estimated at 5-10Ra as this shaft has an oil seal that rides on it so finish will be important.

Please quote with and without the cross hole. Cross hole to have only deburring on each side, omit hole chamfer. We will not require material certs for this part.

Please submit all quotes via PM on this site with separate attachment. These parts need to be done ASAP and we WILL be awarding a contract by next week. We will be looking for a shop that specializes in shaft and low Ra value mfg.

Please also submit your company info or website if you have one for our records for future RFQs.

EDIT: A question was raised regarding doing these between centers. We have no problem with that and will work with you on if you chose to use a center.

Hi, I don't see the spec. for axial parallelism, can I assume this will be in as ground condition and if so please note this in the on the print.
