Hi,
I am looking for Laser engravers to help complete an already exiting project.
So I have this prop shield which will be cut from a type steel or if your laser can handle this particular project using a different form of material say Acrylic for example.
To attain the decent level of detail the S shapes must be engraved into the base model via a laser or similar method.
In the Winzip file is the base model of the Iges file, (If you have a CNC mill you could possibly quote for this to get it milled from steel, at the same time) AND all the corresponding files like the S Shapes in DXF format and the Shield outline. Please refer to the Jpeg. for all measurements.
I await your quotes..
To explain more deeply. The laser should be cutting approximately 1500 Small S's into the surface of the base S which in turn could be milled from Steel or casted in a different material. (If the later is is a possibility I would like to try it as I already have it molded in acrylic form a previous RP model!)
