Promold-Gauer has serviced our customer's wire EDM needs for over 20 years. We feature 3 CNC wire EDM's that utilize System 3R fixturing to provide our customer's accuracy of +/-.0002. We also possess a small hole EDM to provide a start hole location if needed. Promold-Gauer can provide a solution to any of your wire EDM needs.
From Promold-Gauer's conception, ram EDM was the foundation the company was built upon. We possess 4 cnc EDM's as well as 1 conventional EDM. We feature 2 high speed graphite mills that have 3R Quad Systems mounted on them to allow for maximum unattended machining. All of the ram EDM's as well as the high speed graphite mills utilize System 3R fixturing to allow for +/-.0002 accuracy throughout the EDM process.
ProMold-Gauer Inc. has a wide range of equipment to fit any of your general machining needs. With machines that will accommodate a block of up to 14300 lbs., to a small precision machined insert, ProMold-Gauer has the right machine for the job. The high speed hard milling machines give us the ability to cut hardened blocks of over 60Rc to a +/-.0002 tolerance. Our expertise in unattended machining along with optimizing our machining capacity by using the tool changer and through the spindle flushing, makes ProMold-Gauer a single source solution for your subcontracting needs. Along with utilizing all of the machines capabilities, we have the experience and the ingenuity to deliver your products efficiently and accurately.
ProMold-Gauer has 6,000 square feet permanently allocated to polishing, assembly and inspection of molds and components. Overhead cranes service the entire bench area, which has complete facilities for fitting, benching, piping and wiring. Our 20 ton crane can accommodate virtually any size mold as well as two 100 ton fitting presses to insure that shut offs are fit properly. In addition to our in house welding to assist with any repair needs, we also offer complete preventative maintenance programs. We have loading docks available for loading and unloading of all shipments.
