possible deburr issue with thread break-out on the bottom surface near the .528 hole diameter. your model is drawn with the minor thread dia. the tap will break out the bottom as it enters the cross hole.
is that a problem?

Chuck,
The blind hole is critical. By design, only 3-4 threads is required, then we expoxy the 1/4-20 threaded rod. I currently produce the prototypes with a flat bottom tap.

sorry for the miss understanding, the surface model shows the hole going thru to the cross bore. do you have an acad file showing actual tolerancing drill depth and tap depth?

Design and Acad file revision. Please note before bidding

My engineer spotted a problem with the design shown on all original Acad files.

Most noteably, the .53 hole should be drilled at a 18 degree angle. Also the location of the
1/4-20 tap hole will be moved accordingly.

Please use all the original cad files for general reference only.

Complete and revised Acad files will be available at 600 PM PST
